Gay Marriage Expected To Boost Travel, Hospitality Around The World

Growing acceptance and legalization of same-sex marriages in the United States and around the globe fuel the travel and hospitality industries and boost spending by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender consumers, experts say.7
Seventeen U.S. states and the District of Columbia, and a similar number of countries recognize gay unions. Last month Scotland legalized gay marriages, joining a list that includes the Netherlands, Brazil, France, New Zealand, Argentina, South Africa and others.
Although the LGBT community is a small segment of the U.S. population, Charlie Rounds, of the Florida-based International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) Foundation, said the changes in marriage laws will have big implications for travel in the United States and abroad.
“It is going to be an inordinate percentage of the wedding market in the next five to 10 years,” he said in an interview during a visit to New York.
“Even though we are only maybe 4 or 5 percent of the population, the number of us getting married is probably going to be 20 times that because we couldn’t and now we can,” added Rounds, who is also the managing director of U.S. marketing agency OutThink Partners.
Gay couples who have waited years, and in some cases decades, to legalize their unions will be tying the knot and many have the economic resources to pay for large, expensive weddings in far-flung locations.
“We’re getting married at a different place in life,” said Rounds, who wed his long-term partner in a big church wedding.
INCREASED VISIBILITY, NEW DESTINATIONS
Data released in November by Out Now Business Class, a resource website to reach LGBT consumers, showed that in 2014 LGBT tourism spending is expected to top $200 billion for the first time.
The United States accounts for $56.5 billion of the spending, according to the figures, followed by Brazil with $25.3 billion. LGBT Europeans are expected to spend $66.1 billion on tourism.
LoAnn Halden, media relations director of IGLTA, said LGBT travel has increased in visibility in recent years.
“As acceptance of LGBT rights increases people feel more comfortable being open when they are traveling and more destinations are getting on the bandwagon to market to gay travelers,” Halden explained.
Key West in Florida, San Francisco, New York and Provincetown in Massachusetts, which have long welcomed gay tourists, are being joined by new cities, regions and countries.
“The number of people marketing openly has also increased,” Halden added in an interview. “Now we are seeing places like Door County, Wisconsin, marketing to the LGBT community. In South America we are seeing more smaller regional destinations.”
Gay cruises now travel to Cambodia and Vietnam, as well as some Croatian ports, and Asia, Brazil and India are among the growth markets.
Major hotel brands and airlines are also appealing directly to the LGBT community through microsites and advertising.
Rounds said safety and legal protection are still concerns for gay travelers and he stressed the importance when searching for travel destinations to look at their rights on LGBT issues.
“We are demanding visibility and equal rights,” said Halden. “There are a lot of people who haven’t been able to get married and they are queuing up.” (Editing by Eric Kelsey and Steve Orlofsky)

Moesha luring big men with her 'artificial butt' – Maame Dokono

Socialite Moesha Boduong’s only asset with which she lures big men into her bed, is her “artificial butt”, veteran actress Grace Omaboe (Maame Dokono) has said.

“That girl [Moesha] we saw her, the only thing that she has that she is using to lure these men is the butt but I think even that is artificial”, Maame Dokono told Accra-based Joy News.

“Would that be there forever?” Maame Dokono wondered, insisting: “It is artificial because I have seen that or I’ve heard that she had to go through surgery for some parts of her body to be pushed back and she’s using that to bluff. Will that be there forever?”

“I don’t know whether she has children before, I’ve had six children and I’m over 70 and look at my body. You have to keep your body well, you don’t have to let men use your body anyhow. If you don’t have a husband it will be difficult for you to have a husband”.

Moesha recently became the toast of social media after she told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour in the ‘Sex & Love Around the World’ programme that Ghana’s economy was so hard to the extent that women have to trade sex to survive.

Dr. Opuni Sues Lilwin

Dr Stephen Opuni, a former Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD), has sued Multimedia Group Limited (MGL), owners of Adom TV, for GHS10million for defaming him.

Also named in the suit are Daniel Nii Odoi Tutuwani, a producer at Adom TV and Kojo Nkansah, alias Lilwin, as second and third defendants, respectively.

In the suit filed at the Accra High Court on Tuesday, 24 April 2018, Dr Opuni stated that on or about the 24th day of March 2018, on the prime evening hour of 7pm, MGL and Daniel Nii Odoi Tutuwani caused to be broadcast and published; and Lilwin broadcast and published as part of the very popular programme entitled: ‘Don’t Think Far News’, defamatory words in a mixture of the Twi and English languages.

The suit explained that the defendants showed a recording of numerous metal boxes in rooms which were filled to the brim with US$100 bundles and stated as a fact that these said metal boxes filled with these said notes were found in the house of Dr Opuni.

The suit indicated that when translated in English, the utterances of Lilwn states as follows: “The former COCOBOD boss has his ass on fire. One of the first government appointees to be socket by the Akufo-Addo administration has been hurled before the Accra High Court and charged with causing financial loss to the state. Former COCOBOD CEO Dr Stephen Kwabena Opuni and one Seidu Agongo, together, are facing 27 charges. Dr Stephen Kwabena Opuni was appointed as CEO of COCOBOD on November 30, 2013. He was the CEO till January 2017, which is four years as CEO. After his term of office, he intended to travel abroad but was stopped by immigration officials at the airport stating that there was ongoing investigation concerning him during his term of office as CEO of COCOBOD, and, therefore, was not permitted to leave the country till the matter has been solved. Also rumour has it that he is involved in some money scandal and building of a house.

From that time till now, investigations have been ongoing. Investigations are being conducted at his house morning, afternoon, evening and midnight to and fro. Again, it has also been revealed that COCOBOD’s former CEO is guilty of stealing state funds and the sum involved is estimated to be US$ 512,000,000 which when converted into Ghanaian cedis amounts to 2.35billion.

There are trunks of money found in Dr Opuni’s possession which are stacked up in a room. These monies are not in Ghanaian currency but United States dollars and also not in smaller denominations of twenty (20) or fifty (50) dollars but in higher denomination of hundred (100) dollars with every one hundred United States dollars (US$100) equivalent to four hundred and fifty Ghana cedis (GHS450.00). This is the second room and it’s packed up like that in about twenty rooms and the rooms have their fans on so as to allow the money have enough air. This is part of the reasons first aid prices have been increased by the DVLA.

In the suit, Dr Opuni is seeking a restraining order to prevent the defendants from further publications of the said defamatory comments.

Dr Opuni is also seeking a retraction and apology on six consecutive times on Ghana Television, TV3, Joy TV, Adom TV, a written publication on the website of Adom TV and Joy TV, together with four publications on the front and back pages of the Daily Graphic newspaper for four consecutive weeks.

You need to be a ‘freak in the sheets’ to keep your man in Ghana – Moesha tells Amanpour

seems Moesha’s troubles won't be coming to an end anytime soon as the actress made a lot more scandalous revelations in the full video of the interview she had with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour.

The Ghanaian ‘jetsetter’ was rebuked on social and mainstream media when she told the CNN anchor that the Ghanaian economy induces young women to rely on married men to make a living.

“Ghana, our economy is such that you just need someone to take care of you because you can’t make enough money as a woman here,” she told Amanpour.

The actress apologised to Ghanaians for generalizing her comment but also urged with Ghanaians to look out for the full version of the interview.

This according to her could calm the hearts of Ghanaians since several media outlets criticised her based on a piece of the conversation which lasted for 1 minute, 25 seconds.

The full video of the interview was released by CNN yesterday April 23, 2018; it appears Moesha did make a lot of ‘outrageous’ comments.

Moesha did not only mention that Ghanaian women only needed help from men to succeed but she also told Amanpour that the only way a woman can keep a man is to be a freak in the sheets; a reason she is the favourite mistress of her man (married man).

"In Ghana, we please our men before we think of ourselves. You need to be a freak in the sheets to keep your man in Ghana and that’s why I’m the favourite mistress’’. She proudly said.

She also said it is a normal practice in Ghana to date a married man adding that every married man in Ghana keeps a mistress, girlfriend and a wife.

When asked whether she is a girlfriend or mistress, Moesha responded by saying she is the girlfriend but hopes to attain the mistress title soon. ‘’I’m a girlfriend but I’m sure I’ll get to a mistress soon’’. She said

Fancy Gadam does not deserve to win most popular song of the year - Attractive Mustapha

National Organizer of Arts and Tourism Writers Association of Ghana Mustapha Nii-Okai Inusah known in showbiz circles as Attractive Mustapha has stated without mincing words that Fancy Gadam's song 'Total cheat' does not deserve to win the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards most popular song of the year .

Speaking on Onua FM after the event, Attractive Mustapha said even though a section of the people think there is no substance in Patapaa's song, the rhythm resonated well with music lovers, enjoyed maximum airplay and became a household sound both in Ghana and internationally.

"Even if we use the audience at the event as a sample size, it is obvious that 'one corner' is more popular with them than total cheat considering the general reaction after the award was given to Fancy Gadam", Editor of Attractivemustapha.com added

He continued that some section of the general public may have also voted for Patapaa and the others but recommended that organizers should decide to make that category a decision by the board and adopt a methodology to come out with results that truly reflect who wins instead of 100% public votes.

Vodafone Ghana Music Awards came off yesterday at Accra International Conference Center with many music fans both present at the event and commentary on social media raising concerns about why Fancy Gadam won the most popular song of the year.

Last year, ‘Christie’ by Dobble won the Most Popular Song of the Year award

Giving a woman the BEST kiss 2 get her Wet

As alot of Men know, kissing someone says alot not only about you, but also how you handle a woman. Would a woman want someone who's a shy, timid and inexperienced guy? *FUCK NO!* She wants someone who knows she'll have a good time with and kissing says it all.

Humans convey what they feel to another through touch and physicality and the lips are the best part to convey what you want to say to them. Use this to your advantage in your emotion and thought when kissing (But don't be stuck in your head when doing this now).

Here are some tips that will help you give her that great message.

1. First, place your hand on the side of here face, having your thumb in front of her ear while the rest of your fingers are behind her ear while holding her cheek. Let it be a light and emotional slow kiss. Focus on moving your lips like your gnawing at something like a wolf, gently, and not using your teeth but your lips. Grab her hand while doing this and slip your fingers through hers.

2. Be the first to pull away and rate her on her kissing, apply a little teasing but don't give her a shit test. Remember to be playful and funny and go in for another kiss.

3. On this kiss, slip your fingers into hers first *CONFIDENTLY* (Think Dominance) and repeat step 1. On this turn while kissing, rub the tip of your tongue against her lips and she'll know your about to use your tongue.

*If you don't do this and just put your tongue in, you'll have ruined the kiss AND this lowers your value in her eyes exponentially.*

4. While you two french kiss, start to somewhat breath heavily out through your mouth. This will not only get her turned on but you as well (DON'T go fucking life gaurd on her and try and bring her back to life though).

5. Put your hand (the one that was holding hers) on her waste and keep going. Mid way through the kiss, bite her lip but *DO NOT* clamp your jaws down on the bird! The way to do this is to just suck her lip in and hold it with your teeth. Let go and put your forehead onto hers and look deeply into her eyes with a devilish smirk. *We'll call this a bite pull away*.

6. If you do kiss again, repeat step 4 but don't start a bite pull away. Instead grab the back of her hair (Where the hairline reaches the back of her neck) and give her a slight tug. Hold for 2-6 seconds, turn her head to the side and bite that neck. Gnaw at that baby like your gonna give her a hickey but don't get rough.

7. Come back up to her lips & make out for a little bit (make sure its not too long).

8. Do a bite pull away and if your clothes aren't off by now, I'd be surprised if she wasn't thinking about it. Remember these tips and don't forget to get creative with your own technique.

Why Communication is Essential For Great Sex

We all want to be experiencing great sex, right? Most of us dream of experiencing lots of fun, healthy, connected, ecstatic sex, preferably on a daily basis … unfortunately though, most of us aren’t experiencing sex this way. One of the big reasons for this is most likely because the majority of us have never been educated aboutwhy communication is so important.
So, why is communication with our lovers/partners so important? It’s important because it gives us an opportunity to talk about the following:
  • What we enjoy/don’t enjoy sexually
  • How we do/don’t experience orgasmic energy
  • What our boundaries are. Example: “At this stage in our relationship anal sex is a no-go. So my boundary is you don’t touch me there.”
  • What sex PROVIDES for us. Example: “Sex provides connection - physically & spiritually I feel deeply connected to you when we make love.”
  • How we enjoy sex being initiated
  • What our fears are around sex/intimacy/connection
  • Contraception choices - get clear on this early on to avoid confusion mid-way during sex. It’s essential that we talk to our partners about STI’s, contraception and condom usage
I’ve recently come on board as Durex Australia’s new sexologist to support the recent launch of The Durex Great Aussie Sex Survey (2018), which has revealed some fascinating insights into Australia’s sex habits. According to the survey, half of Aussies are rarely – or even never – using contraception when having sex*.
The survey discovered that more than half (58 per cent) of Australians say that a fear of ‘ruining the moment’ stops them from enjoying sex with a condom, while almost one third of Australians (30 per cent) who don’t tend to bring condoms on a date attribute this to not wanting to seem ‘too presumptuous’.  This shows just how important it is for us to be having these conversations prior to jumping in bed. And, if we don’t have the conversation prior, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with bringing it up any time during sex, too.
Reality is, clear, healthy and direct communication is absolutely essential for healthy, connected sex. There’s nothing sexier than an empowered individual who can confidently communicate what they need to keep them safe - both physically, emotionally and spiritually (i.e. putting their hand up to use a condom etc). And on a side note, ‘sex talk’ can feel super sexy and is often a turn-on, with many couples using it as foreplay. So, get to it people!

Police brutality of music fans at events must stop; The case of VGMA nominee Jam and Zylofon Cash Activation Concert - Attractive Mustapha (Videos)

Over the years, music fans have been subjected to brutalities by Police officers and other officials from agencies that are obligatorily contracted to ensure security and safety at entertainment events especially outdoor musical concerts.

Is it not ironic that those who are supposed to protect lives sadly inflict pains on people who have primarily gathered to have fun and promote the diversity of the entertainment industry?

The recent Vodafone Ghana Music Awards nominees jam and Zylofon Cash Activation Concert held in Cape-Coast and Aflao respectively were not spared from the harsh instances of manhandling by police, military and other security guards present at events.

Some artistes who performed at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards nominees jam were obviously displeased with the security personnel's attitude towards fans and complained about the occurrence whilst mastering the situation by moving the crowd alongside the performance.

In the case of the Zylofon Cash Activation Concert, the lead act, Charles Nii Armah Mensah with stage name Shatta Wale was caught on video complaining bitterly about how fans were been jostled. At another instance, a native of the host region, Ayigbe Edem was visibly frustrated by the heckling and inappropriate treatment metted out to his fans who were cheering him up and had to pause with the performance and plead with the "men in uniform" to exercise considerable restraint.

This is not to deliberately turn a blind eye to the strenuous efforts displayed by the Ghana Police Service and all concerned agencies with regards to crowd control at events. At least the dexterity they exhibit during general elections which are usually more characterized by crowd misconduct in some areas but managed without brutalities is worth noting.

Aggregately, their  professionalism is somewhat appreciative except that some smudges  need to be erased to boost public confidence and uphold their credibility as legitimate law enforcers entrusted with sustaining safety, peace and stability at all times.

Realistically, people attach  emotions to art works especially music. This makes them naturally apportion passion towards the musicians which resultantly drive fans to behave in a manner that requires effective but careful control when artistes are on stage.

Apart from fans who may be consumed by excessive alcoholism and or drug abuse, the main cause of an unfriendly or resistant crowd   from my personal experience is the attempt by fans to get closer to the artiste or performing act by overstepping the physical barrier drawn between the stage and the fans.

In earnest, the Police administration together with the military and other security agencies should endeavor to train staff on alternative and modern crowd control techniques.   Event organizers must engage the security personnel who are supposed to enhance safety at events to avert any future massive brutalities and maintain or improve the enthusiasm and turnout of our music fans since a successful event largely depends on their numerical strength.
